Your photos

Your photo is used only to draw your character, is never shown publicly, and is deleted when you approve the character or within 24 hours. Feral’s saved designs are kept for 30 days from your last visit. Deleting them here does not delete generated artwork held in HQ, our drawing service.

When you upload a photo, your browser shrinks it first, and location data is removed before it is stored. We pass it to our drawing service (run by Teknetik, which builds and hosts this site) only to draw the character you asked for. There are no public links to your photos or designs: they can only be opened from the browser that made them.

You can delete a photo at any time from the studio. “Forget my photos” deletes uploaded photos and Feral's saved designs for the current studio session. Generated artwork remains in HQ, our drawing service: the current API cannot delete it.

Your designs

Feral's saved copies of your characters and patterns are kept for 30 days from your last visit so you can return to your design. After that, those copies are deleted. This does not delete the generated artwork held in HQ.

Cookies and your basket

The studio and checkout share one cookie (ff_studio) so they know which designs and checkout reviews are yours. It isn't used for advertising or tracking. Your editable basket is stored in your own browser. When you check a total, a copy of the reviewed items and your delivery details is saved privately on our server and sent to HQ Shop. This lets an interrupted checkout resume without starting a second payment. Unsubmitted checkout reviews are tidied up after 24 hours when the next review is made. Submitted payment attempts are kept so their outcome can be checked without starting another payment. Deleting studio photos does not delete order or payment records. We don't use analytics or third-party trackers on this site.

Limits that protect everyone

To keep drawing fair, we count drawings per browser and per network each day. We store a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address for that, never the address itself.
